Porsche Mt Buller Sprint 2006

The dates of November 4-6 2006 have been confirmed for the next running of the Mt Buller Sprint.

After the thid running of the event, it was decided that a date change to a cooler month of the year was required on safety grounds.

Event Director, Peter Washington said "After January's event, we contacted all current competitors to gauge their reaction to a proposed date change. There was an overwhelming and positive response to change the dates to an early November schedule. I am sure we will see improved racing and greater safety."

The Mt Buller Sprint attracted a record entry of 128 performance cars and 60 Touring cars for the January 2006 event ranging from a flock of more than 40 Porsches to potent Monaros, Mitsubishi Evos, classic Mustangs, racing Utes and just about everything in between.

This date change will open the way for a 3 event sprint series, starting in 2007.
